The Cyberknife is a non-invasive way to perform a procedure on patients with cancerous and non-cancerous tumors. The Cyberknife can perform anywhere on the body like the prostate, lungs, brain, spine, liver and so on. This tool performs by using high doses of radiation with precise aim targeting a tumor. This is an excellent alternative to an invasive surgery and requires no anesthesia or sedatives. Cyberknife right now is mostly for treating tumors, but it has potential to expand into a broader horizon of treatments. I believe that this tool will help the medical field tremendously and will most likely evolve into something much more.
